He played college football for the University of Southern California. Rodney and his wife, actress Holly Robinson Peete, hosted two reality shows, Meet the Peetes and For Peete's Sake, which followed daily life with their family. They also host the reality dating show Queens Court (2023). He has been married to Holly since 1995; they have 4 children.
