Reputed to be the "Queen of Underground Cinema," her two most well known works are "I Was a Teenage Serial Killer" (1993) and "Mary Jane's Not a Virgin Anymore" (1996). Jacobson died from endometrial cancer in New York City on February 13, 2004, aged 32.
