Originally from Long Island, Jill received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University where she studied filmmaking with renowned directors such as Hal Hartley, Robb Moss and Alfred Guzzetti. She has a background in film and television production and was part of a small team to win a National Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary at the 2006 Sports Emmy Awards.
