An Egyptian singer and actress, she began her career as an amateur singer. She entered a competition held by director Mohamed Karim to choose the lead role in the film "The White Rose." She entered a competition held by director Mohamed Karim to choose the lead role in the film "The White Rose." Musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab praised her voice, but she was unsuccessful due to her young age. Her fame spread quickly, and she became a famous radio singer, proving herself alongside singers such as Umm Kulthum and Asmahan. This prompted Odeon to produce a disc for her. She entered the film industry through the 1937 film "Behind the Curtain," directed by Kamal Selim. She then signed a contract with musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab and director Mohamed Karim to star in the film "Forbidden Love." The composer then produced the film "First Love," in which she sang her most famous song, "The Postmen Complained," which achieved widespread popularity. She participated in many operettas such as (Shahrazad), and also the play (Zuba Al-Kloubatiya), and on television she worked in the series (With My Love and Appreciation), and her last work was the movie (Cabaret of Life) in 1977.
