She took a hiatus in 2017 due to an unspecified illness, but decided to graduate just months after returning. After graduation, Yui signed with Avex and began work as an actress and model. She also regularly held fan events and even sang for fans. Recently, Yui announced her marriage to YouTuber Watanabe Mahoto and revealed that she is pregnant. In June 2021, it was announced that she have given birth and she also officially part ways with Avex Asunaro on June 30, 2021.
