In 2022, The Miami New Times named Molina Miami’s Best Film Director, reporting he was “becoming a marquee name in the South Florida film scene.” In 2023, Molina was named an Oolite Arts Cinematic Artist In Residence, where he crafted his debut feature, Fallen Fruit.
