The latest in the pantheon of outstanding Philadelphia fighters, Ennis combines sublime boxing skills with natural power in both hands. A graduate of the prospect development series SHOBOX: The New Generation, Ennis became the first fighter to stop former world champion Sergey Lipinets in April 2021. He followed up that performance with an impressive first-round stoppage of veteran contender Thomas Dulorme in October 2021 and a second-round KO of then-unbeaten Custio Clayton in May 2022. That KO gave Ennis 19 KOs in his last 20 fights, with the only blemish being a no-decision after Chris van Heerden suffered a cut in the first round of their December 2020 match from a clash of heads.
