She began her professional journey in 2013, starting with commercial, beauty, fashion, lifestyle projects, ramp modeling, and music videos. In 2014, she transitioned into acting, working on TV and cinema commercials, editorial shoots, corporate projects, and short films. To refine her craft, Prasuna pursued formal training in screen acting and earned a Diploma from the International School of Screen Acting, London, in 2015. The same year, she made her theater debut with Scenario of Time, followed by her performance in the popular theater drama Jeegisha in 2017. She continued to showcase her theatrical talent in A Tale of Two Roses in 2021.
