Biography
A soviet and Ukrainian theater and film actor. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2007). People's Artist of Ukraine (2017). He became an active member of the Ukrainian movie scene at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. He played a number of iconic roles, in particular in the cult film "Hunt for the Cossack's Gold" (ukr. "Вперед, за скарбами гетьмана!") . Critics claim that his characters are characterized by kindness, energy, psychological insight and enormous experience. He teaches at the Kharkiv I. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts (Department of Actor's Mastery).
