She studied theatre in Gothenburg and founded, along with Birgitta Andersson, Dan Sjögren, Ove Tjernberg, and Rustan Älveby, Atelierteat... Her film debut was in Lars-Eric Kjellgren's "Ingen mans kvinna/No Mans Woman" (1953).
