She was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated magna cum laude from Ball State University with degree in Theatre (The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Best Supporting Actress,; Love Child, Outstanding Actress). She co-created (alongside Melissa Blue) and starred in the award winning web series, Life Group, Winner of 2018 IndieBOOM Film Festival Best Comedy Series. She adapted Shauna Niequist's best selling memoir into the award winning "Cold Tangerines: The Play" (Encore Producers's Award LA Fringe 2016). She appeared in the starring role for an extended run of the world premier at The Fremont Centre Theatre in 2014, the LA Fringe Fest in 2016, and toured Southern California. She is also the pioneer woman in Geico's "Words Can Hurt" commercial. She is married to actor/comedian Dan Braswell.
