If he began his career in the cinema, it was through television that he would rise to fame. Still quite discreet in L'Abonné de la ligne U (1964), the 1970s brought him a certain notoriety with La Demoiselle d'Avignon, L'Homme qui retour de loin and also Docteur Caraïbes.
